About the Position

The sales director role is a critical role directly influencing the future of the company. You will contribute directly to the lead generation, qualification and closing of sales opportunities across all major revenue channels. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing and specifically manage all aspects of the sales and client management of your accounts, and assist in supporting marketing activities within Pointivo.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and qualification of potential future clients and document progress in CRM platform.
  • Establish and maintain excellent client relationships with current and future target clients and channel partners
  • Develop growth strategies with the VP of Sales, Customer Operations and Marketing for key accounts
  • Monitor the your account pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
  • Establish both short-term and long-term account strategies, including revenue forecasting
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful communication for each account from customer acquisition to engagement to success
  • Assist in training and supporting new team members
  • Develop and present client proposals
  • Support channel/partner development – as assigned – identifying new sales channels and partners
  • Leverage customer research (quantity and quality) to develop deep relationships and improve close rates.
  • Provide input and customer feedback to support marketing initiatives.
  • Evangelize the company through participation in key industry events

Experience

  • Minimum of five years of engineering, technical services or SaaS sales (direct or channel) experience, preferably in telecommunications
  • Exceptional sales presence, business acumen, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship builder with analytical, modeling, writing, and  software skills Detail oriented – demonstrated success using CRM platform in sales process
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired
